When moving, documents are often available but cannot be found at the right time. An original is in the removal van, a name is spelled differently, or a translation belongs to an older version. Therefore, create one checked file before appointments.
Work with four categories
Separate identity and family, work and income, healthcare and insurance, and home and address. For each document, note the issue date, expiry date, and whether legalisation, an apostille or a sworn translation is required. Always use the official name shown in the passport.
Protect digital copies
Store scans encrypted and keep an offline backup copy. Do not automatically share the entire file by email. Send only what a verified authority or professional genuinely needs.
Check again for each procedure
An NIE, padrón, residence or bank application may require a different set of documents. Corablanca can help keep the order and practical preparation clear; the deciding authority always determines whether a file is complete.
