EU rules for dogs, cats and ferrets generally concern a microchip, valid rabies vaccination and a European pet passport. When departing from outside the EU, a health certificate and additional tests may be required. Ask an authorised veterinarian to confirm the current timing.
Check every link in the chain
Ask the carrier about the crate, temperature limits, transfers and document handling. Keep medication and familiar food close at hand. Check that the rental property and community accept the animal.
Prepare for arrival
