Two quotes can differ by thousands of euros because they do not describe the same move. One may use an estimated volume, while another uses a fixed inventory; packing, floors, a shuttle service, storage, and customs or ferry costs may or may not be included.
Create one inventory for everyone
List quantities, dimensions, fragility, and which items you will pack yourself. Add photos of large or unusual objects. Describe access at both addresses: lift, stairs, parking distance, narrow street, and any required permit.
Ask about responsibility
Check the carrier, subcontractors, insured value, excess, exclusions, and the claims procedure. Standard transport cover is not automatically equal to the replacement value of special items.
Confirm the actual timeframe
Ask whether the delivery date is fixed or indicative, and what storage or delay costs. Corablanca can help connect the practical move with key handover and arrival; the carrier remains responsible for its own contract and cover.
